Now to the person who mentioned dead accounts, if you actually took 5 seconds to click on the link I provided in my post above you'd see that there is a section for inactive accounts and that number is minimal(less than 125,000 inactive characters).
Now, in reality not every account is a paid account so the number of PS3 players could number in the 10's of thousands but to imply that there aren't thousands of PS3 players just isn't logical. Now, take that 1,937,500 possible maxed out accounts and say that 1% of them are PS3 players =19,375 PS3 users meaning that yes, there were thousands of PS3 players still in game. Using simple math(which, apparently most people here are completely incapable of doing) 31,000,000 CHARACTERS/16 CHARACTER SLOTS = 1,937,500 possible players overall again using a formula of every single player maxing out their character slots on a legendary account. What I posted was using hypotheticals based on the number of CHARACTERS/16(the maximum number of character slots on a legendary subscription) = possible number of players. People read 4 or 5 words from my post and consider themselves clever trying to point out flaws.
